Dates do not often go well. Maybe that gentle and innocent parting hug and kiss on the cheek was misinterpreted. Perhaps the offended party had second thoughts of inviting you to his/her apartment, and now in their resentment, they are accusing you of a non-existent crime.

I once had a notorious sexual battery jury trial where my client was not only falsely accused of “raping” the alleged victim, but had been the victim himself of a date rape drug administered on him without his knowledge leading to his being robbed after passing-out. The alleged “rape” victim was in on my client’s victimization and it became quite convenient for her to claim he had “raped” her, when in reality the only victim of a crime was my client. And to make matters worse for the alleged victim, the DNA found in and on her belonged to another man!
